Nahan, Feb. 16 -- A man died after allegedly falling into an irrigation tank in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday morning.
According to local sources, locals in Haban Panchayat of Rajgarh subdivision in noticed a body floating in an irrigation tank constructed along agricultural fields in Haban village.
Harish Kumar, a resident, first spotted the body and immediately informed the police and administrative authorities.
Police, along with local residents, retrieved the body from the water.
The deceased has been identified as Sunil Kumar, a resident of Haban Madechi in Rajgarh tehsil of Sirmaur district. The police took the body into custody and conducted a postmortem examination at the Civil Hospital, Rajgarh.
