Hardoi, Feb. 11 -- A 36-year-old man was brutally murdered in Balehra village under Behata Gokul police station area, about 30 kilometers from the district headquarters, on Wednesday morning.
The attack is believed to be an act of revenge linked to a four-year-old family dispute.
The victim, identified as Akshay Singh alias Achhe, was attacked on the road by a group of men armed with sticks and spears.
According to reports, the attackers first beat him with sticks. When he fell into a roadside drain, they allegedly stabbed him multiple times with spears, inflicting more than a dozen deep wounds that caused his death on the spot.
