Mumbai, Dec. 2 -- A session court here has acquitted a 37-year-old man accused of giving ratol-laced ice cream to his three children, after the prosecution failed to produce concrete evidence against him and also cited major gaps in the prosecution's case.

According to the prosecution case, in the month of June 2021, accused Mohd Ali Nushad Ansari allegedly mixed ratol poison into the ice cream he gave to his daughter Alina and sons Alishan and Aman following frequent marital disputes.

Alishan later died during treatment.
