Kolkata, April 23 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday said her administration in New Delhi was alerted to bring the three victims from the state and their surviving family members back home safely.

" As per updated information made available to us, 3 persons from our state have died in the most unfortunate Kashmir violence," she said on her X handle.

She said all arrangements are being made by the state administration at Delhi airport to help the family members of the victims and their onward journey to Kolkata.

She said the flight is likely to arrive at Kolkata airport at 8.30 pm today.
