Kolkata, Dec. 2 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is set to lead two back-to-back rallies opposing the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls, with meetings scheduled in the minority-dominated districts of Malda and Murshidabad on Wednesday and Thursday.
The twin rallies are part of the Trinamool Congress's escalating campaign against what it claims are irregularities and excessive pressure linked to the statewide revision exercise.
