Kolkata, Jan. 28 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is likely to meet Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in New Delhi on Monday after the Election Commission asked a Trinamool Congress delegation to visit its office around 4 pm on February 2 to discuss issues related to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls in the state.
The Commission sent a letter to Banerjee on Wednesday, formally conveying the appointment.
Nabanna (the CM's office) sources said Mamata will travel to Delhi on Monday along with Trinamool Congress national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee and several party MPs.
Family members of some persons who allegedly died due to SIR-related stress may also be part of the party delegation....
