Kolkata, March 31 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today accused the BJP of attempting to include voters from other states in West Bengal's electoral rolls, urging party workers to remain vigilant against any such irregularities.
Addressing a rally in Chandrakona in East Midnapore on Tuesday, Banerjee alleged that names of legitimate voters were being deleted while new names from states such as Bihar, Rajasthan, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh were being added.
"So many names have been deleted and they are yet to be restored. Instead, names are being brought in from Bihar, Rajasthan, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. People are even being brought in by trains to cast votes in Bengal," she claimed.
