Tehran, April 28 -- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has highlighted the growing depth of Tehran's strategic alignment with Moscow, stating that ongoing regional upheaval after the US-Israel attack on Iran underscores the strength of bilateral ties.
Speaking after high-level engagements in St Petersburg, Araghchi said he was "pleased to engage with Russia at the highest level as the region is in major flux," adding that recent developments have "evidenced the depth and strength" of the Iran-Russia partnership. He noted that as cooperation expands, Tehran remains "grateful for solidarity" and welcomes Moscow's continued support for diplomatic efforts.
