Mumbai/New Delhi, March 18 -- Fresh political turbulence is likely in Maharashtra as Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is reportedly preparing to deliver a significant blow to the Shiv Sena faction led by Uddhav Thackeray.

According to sources, Shinde has now shifted focus toward Members of Parliament from the Thackeray faction, with more than half of them reportedly in touch with his camp. Notably, at least four MPs are said to be highly positive about switching sides.

Shinde's recent visit to Delhi has further fueled speculation.
