Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi, Chief Minister M K Stalin, his Cabinet colleaguesOpposition leader Edappadi K Palaniswami and leaders of various parties paidfloral tributes to Mahatma across the State.
Mr Ravi paid floral tributes to a portrait of Mahatma at the Raj Bhavan and alsoadministered the untouchability pledge to the staff and family of Lok Bhavan.
At the Egmore museum campus, Mr Stalin, accompanied by his Cabinetcolleagues, paid floral tributes to the Father of the Nation and later administeredthe pledge to the government staff members at the State Secretariat.
