Mumbai, April 5 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has approved a proposal by philanthropist Azim Premji to set up help desks in the observation homes of the state to provide legal, social, counseling services on children's rights and for rehabilitation of juvenile offenders.
According to an official media statement, the agreement will be signed between Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Juvenile Justice Resource Cell (RCJJ) and the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Maharashtra for the rehabilitation of children in conflict with law (CCL).
