Mumbai, March 25 -- The Government of Maharashtra has implemented a cyber security project worth approximately Rs 2,000 crore aimed at strengthening digital safety infrastructure across the state, Minister of State for Home Yogesh Kadam informed the Legislative Assembly.
Kadam stated that Maharashtra is among the leading regions in Asia to deploy such an advanced cyber security initiative, equipped with state-of-the-art tools and systems to combat the growing threat of cybercrime.
The minister shared the details while responding to a half-hour discussion raised by legislator Vikas Thakre on the increasing incidence of financial cyber frauds in the state.
