Mumbai, Nov. 8 -- In a major step toward strengthening Maharashtra's public healthcare system, the state government has approved the establishment of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories (Cath Labs) in 11 government medical colleges, including Mumbai's Gokuldas Tejpal (G.T.) Hospital.
The project will function under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model aimed at providing prompt and specialised cardiac emergency treatment to patients across the state.
