Mumbai, Dec. 6 -- Maharashtra's senior political leadership visited Chaitya Bhoomi in Dadar on Saturday to pay homage to Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on the 69th Mahaparinirvan Diwas. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, and Governor Ramesh Bais offered floral tributes at the memorial. Opposition leaders also participated, with NCP founder Sharad Pawar and former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray visiting the site to honor the architect of the Indian Constitution.
