Chandrapur, Jan. 22 -- At least two people were killed and 22 others injured after a pickup van carrying labourers overturned near Nandgaon village in Maharashtra's Chandrapur district early Wednesday morning, police said.
The accident occurred around 5:30 am when a Bolero pickup van returning from Telangana lost control on a curve allegedly due to a large pothole on the road, police said.
The vehicle first struck a pedestrian standing by the roadside and then rammed into an electric pole, disrupting power supply in the area.
