Nashik, Feb. 25 -- A woman and a scooterist were killed after being hit by a speeding car on the Chandwad-Niphad road in city today.
After the accident, the driver drove the car with a flat tyre for several kilometres, abandoned it and fled.
The woman was on her way to bring her children home from school in afternoon, when a car, coming at high speed, hit the two people. The collision was very severe, killing the woman on the spot.
After the accident, the car driver tried to flee instead of stopping. The front tyres of the car were burst due to the impact, but the driver still drove the car at full speed.
