Mumbai, March 9 -- Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP, Sanjay Raut, today expressed confidence that the lone Maharashtra Legislative Council seat which the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is eligible to contest will be won by Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray.

Uddhav Thackeray's present term at the Maharashtra Legislative Council which began on May 14, 2020, will come to an end on May 13, 2026. The Shiv Sena is keen to nominate its chief and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Udhhav Thackeray for another Legislative Council term.
