Mumbai, Jan. 28 -- Vijay Kumar Singh, owner of the private aviation company VRS Ventures, has claimed that there was no technical defect or malfunction in the aircraft involved in the tragic accident that claimed the life of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP (AP) president Ajit Pawar at Baramati today.
According to Singh, the crash occurred due to pilot-related decisions, not because of any mechanical failure.
Explaining the sequence of events, Singh said the pilots initially attempted to land on Runway 29. After facing some difficulty, they made a second attempt on Runway 11, during which the accident took place.
