Kolhapur, Dec. 26 -- In a swift action, Khopoli police have registered a criminal case against Nationalist Congress Party (NCP-AP) Raigad district president, its spokesperson and eight others for allegedly hatching a plot to murder former corporator Mangesh Kalokhe, husband of Shiv Sena (Shinde)'s newly elected corporator Manasi Kalokhe.
Accordingly, Khopoli police have registered a case against NCP(AP) chief Sudhakar Ghare and district spokesperson Bharat Bhagat ,along with eight other persons including deceased's paternal uncle for hatching a plot of murder of Mangesh Kalokhee, a staunch supporter of MLA Mahendra Thorve, to avenge the poll debacle and political enmity.
