Nanded, May 12 -- Mahatma Gandhi's great-grandson, Advocate Tushar Gandhi, on Monday called for creation of a mass movement against EVMs (electronic voting machines).
Presiding over a meeting of activists organised at the government rest house here, he said that except for the ruling party, many political parties have expressed doubts about EVMs, but they cannot do anything except to make noise, therefore, a mass movement against EVMs will have to be created.
Tushar Gandhi further said that the current government itself is imposing some issues on the society and people are getting upset over it.
In this pomp and show, the real issues of the people are being left aside, he rued.
