Mumbai, Jan. 30 -- A court here today granted bail to actor and filmmaker Kamaal Rashid Khan, popularly known as KRK, for his alleged involvement in a firing incident that occurred in a residential complex of Andheri area of Mumbai.
While granting bail, the court directed him to furnish a surety of Rs 25,000 and warned him not to tamper with the evidences available against him.
Moving the bail application on behalf of actor, Advocate Sana Rais Khan denied the charges and argued that her client's arrest was illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law, as mandatory notice under Section 35(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 was never served upon the applicant prior to arrest.
