Mumbai, April 17 -- The Maharashtra government has decided to rename the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Kamthi in Nagpur district after Hemant Karkare, then chief of Mumbai Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) who sacrificed his life in action during the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks,Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha said here on Friday that the decision has been taken under the guidance of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and aims to inspire students with a sense of patriotism and duty.
