Maha govt announces to expand cashless treatment upto Rs One lakh
Mumbai, April 18 -- The Maharashtra government on Friday announced to extend cashless treatment up to Rs 1 lakh for accident victims in empanelled and other emergency hospitals under the health scheme.
The announcement was made by Public Health Minister Prakash Abitkar during a review meeting in which he issued a directive to the officials to ensure that accident victims get timely and cashless treatment up to Rs 1 lakh, and action would be taken against anyone found violating the health scheme.
He said a mobile app is under process which will provide information on hospitals under the scheme, bed availability, and to register complaints,
