Maha Congress chief Sapkal demands Agriculture Minister Kokate be expelled for 'insulting farmers'
Mumbai, April 5 -- Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) President Harshvardhan Sapkal demanded on Saturday that state Agriculture Minister Adv Manikrao Kokate be expelled from the cabinet for "insulting farmers" and should tender a public apology.
Sapkal said the 'Baliraja' (farmer) is the breadwinner of the world, but the BJP coalition government in Maharashtra does not miss a single opportunity to insult them.
He alleged that State Agriculture Minister Kokate has become so enamored with power that he is constantly insulting farmers.
