Akola, Jan. 22 -- Ten persons have been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Akola District and Sessions Court in connection with the murder of Gawli community leader Kisanrao Hundiwal, which took place in 2019 inside the office of the Charity Commissioner in Akola.
According to the prosecution, Hundiwal was brutally killed after being struck on the head with a cylinder.
The police had filed a chargesheet against 15 accused in the case and during the course of the investigation, the involvement of a former Deputy Superintendent of Police had also come to light.
