Kolhapur, March 17 -- Asim Sarode, lawyer of renowned historian Indrajeet Sawant in Prashant Koratkar threat case, said on Monday that accused Koratkar had deleted calls data from his mobile phone on advice of some senior police officers from Kolhapur police station.
During arguments in the court here on the bail plea of accused Koratkar, Adv Sarode made a serious allegation that after registration of complainant at city's Juna Rajwada police station, some senior police officers advised Koratkar to destroy evidence by deleting calls data from his mobile phone.
He demanded to arrest Koratkar for further inquiry.
On this, District sessions judge D V Kashyap adjourned the hearing till Tuesday (tomorrow).
