Mumbai, May 18 -- The list of 81 district presidents circulating on social media under the name "BJP District President 2025" is fake and has no connection with the party, said Maharashtra working president of the Bharatiya Janata Party Ravindra Chavan through an official statement here today.
He said that the appointment of only 58 district presidents of the BJP has been officially announced so far. The selection process for the remaining districts is underway.
Chavan has appealed not to trust the fake list.
The party has expressed the possibility that there are many wrong names in the said fake list and it is being spread intentionally.
