Nashik, Feb. 17 -- As many as eight people were injured after two cars collided head-on on the Kalvan-Nashik road near Vani in Kalvan ttehsil of the district today.
According to the information, a car was going from Nashik to Saptashrungi Gad, while the other car was coming from Nanduri towards Nashik in the morning, when both the vehicles collided head-on in front of Hotel Garvel in Vani.
The impact of the collision was so great that the front portions of both the cars were damaged extensively.
After receiving information of the accident, the locals immediately started relief work and admitted all the injured to the Wani Rural Hospital.
