Mumbai, March 1 -- A sessions court here has allowed a plea of prosecution to add the name of a senior doctor of B Y L Nair Hospital in Mumbai as an accused in abetment of suicide case of post-graduate medical student Dr Payal Tadvi, a lawyer said here on Saturday. Senior doctor Dr Yi Ling was the unit head of the gynaecology department when the incident occured on May 22, 2019. Three post-graduate students, who were seniors of Tadvi, are facing charges, including that of abetment of suicide, for allegedly harassing her, leading her to take the extreme step in her hostel room.
