Mumbai, June 9 -- Maharashtra Pradesh Congress president Harshavardhan Sapkal termed the rail accident near Thane, where four passengers lost their lives after falling from an overcrowded local train between Diva and Mumbra stations on Monday, as extremely unfortunate and heart-wrenching while demanding removal of Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw from the cabinet.

Speaking on the railway tragedy, he said that this was not a railway accident-it is a human sacrifice taken by the BJP government.

There must be an investigation into the incident, and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw should be held accountable and should be removed from the cabinet, he demanded.
