Mumbai, June 2 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will chair a high-level law and order meeting on Monday evening at Sahyadri Guest House in Mumbai, ahead of the upcoming Eid al-Adha celebrations.
The session will bring together senior officials to assess security arrangements and ensure peaceful observance of the festival across the state.
The move comes amid heightened focus on maintaining communal harmony, especially following recent debates around animal sacrifice and the closure of cattle markets in some regions.
