Lucknow, April 24 -- District police have arrested school operator Kanhaiya Mishra in connection with the death of 11-year-old Divyansh, who allegedly died after severe physical assault at a gurukul.
A woman identified as Harshita Soni, a resident of Alamnagar and reportedly Mishra's associate, has also been arrested for allegedly destroying evidence and sending students away from the premises. Both accused are expected to be presented in court on Friday, according to officials.
Divyansh, the son of Narendra Kumar Dwivedi from Gauriya village in Maharajpur, had been sent to the Ramanuj Bhagwat Ved Vidyapeeth Gurukul in Alamnagar just a week before the incident. Initially, the family was informed that the boy had fallen down the stairs. Ho...
