Chennai, Feb. 17 -- The Low Pressure Area over the Bay ofBengal moved slowly and become moremarked around tomorrow, with Coastal, South and North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal to getlight to moderate rains from 20 to 23rd February.
In an update on Tuesday, Met office said dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikalarea. and there were no large change in minimum temperatures over these areas.
It said yesterday's Low Pressure Area over east Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining central parts ofsouth Bay of Bengal moved slowly west-northwestwards and lay centred over Equatorial Indian Oceanand adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal at 0830 hrs of today.
