Patna, Feb. 6 -- Bihar parliamentary affairs minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary today said that the state is spending 1.5 per cent of the total GSDP of the state on the health.

Intervening into the reply being made by the Minister Pramod Kumar on behalf of the government to a short noticed question of IP Gupta during the pre-lunch sitting of the house, Chaudhary said that the state government is spending 1.5 per cent of the total GSDP on the health which was more than the neighbouring states including Jharkhand and West Bengal.

Gupta had raised the issue of per capita health expenditure and other related issues to which the Minister Pramod Kumar was replying on behalf of the health department in the lower house.
