Kochi, Aug. 13 -- The death of a 23-year-old Sona Eldhose is "one of the strongest cases" of 'Love Jihad' in India, as the accused allegedly sought her religious conversion by feigning love rather than pursuing marriage, alleged BJP National Council member PC George.
George said today, "In Kerala, hundreds of girls have gone missing in similar incidents, yet Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan remains silent". Calling it a "terrorist act," he demanded an investigation by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the arrest of all those involved under non-bailable sections. The BJP has warned of launching strong protest programmes if action is not taken.
