Hyderabad, Feb. 20 -- In a major relief to employees, the Telangana government has given the green signal for long-pending promotions in the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Department, bringing cheer to officers who had been awaiting career progression for several years.
The promotions were expedited following the initiative taken by Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Danasari Anasuya Seethakka, with formal orders issued by Principal Secretary N. Sridhar.
As per the orders, 27 Deputy Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) have been promoted as CEOs, while 55 Mandal Parishad Development Officers (MPDOs) have been elevated as Deputy CEOs.
