New Delhi, March 13 -- The Lok Sabha on Friday passed the Second batch of Supplementary Demands FY 2025-26 amid ruckus.

The Second batch of Supplementary Demands for Grants includes 61 Grants, and the approval of Parliament is sought to authorise gross additional expenditure of Rs 2,81,289.26 crore.

Replying to discussions, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the government has maintained stability, fiscal discipline, and sustained growth over the past decade.

"India's economic trajectory has been marked by stability, fiscal discipline, sustained growth, and moderate inflation," she said, attributing the progress to structural reforms and strong public investment.
