New Delhi, Feb. 9 -- The Lok Sabha was adjourned till 2:00 pm on Monday following continued protests by Opposition members over a range of issues, including demands for a discussion on the India-US interim trade framework.

When the House reconvened at noon following an earlier adjournment, Opposition members resumed sloganeering and moved into the well of the House. Despite the disruption, papers were laid on the Table. The Chair then called upon members to proceed with the discussion on the General Budget; however, as the sloganeering persisted, the proceedings were adjourned until 2.00 p.m. Consequently, no legislative business could be transacted till then.
