Chennai, Feb. 15 -- New Zealand fast bowler Lockie Ferguson will leave the ICC Men's T20 World Cup to return home for the birth of his first child, ruling him out of the Black Caps' final Group D match against Canada.
Ferguson's departure, however, may not mark the end of his tournament, with the pacer expected to rejoin the squad if New Zealand qualify for the Super 8 stage and he is able to return to the sub-continent in time, as per the International Cricket Council (ICC) website.
