Chandigarh, Oct. 23 -- The Indo-Japanese pair of Vishnu Vardhan and Toshihide Matsui defeated fourth seeded French pair of Sadio Doumbia and Fabien Reboul by 6-3, 7-6 (5) in the first-round doubles match in the 54,160 Liuzhou ATP Challenger (China) on Wednesday. Vardhan-Matsui fired four aces and saved two out three break points besides winning two out of three break points in a match which lasted one hour and 27 minutes. The pair of Vardhan and Matsui kept their first service 68 per cent in and won a total of 67 points out of 126.
