Thiruvananthapuram, March 4 -- The Kerala State Pollution Control Board will organise a policy formulation workshop as part of efforts to draft a comprehensive State policy to curb light pollution.

The initiative is being held under the direction of the State Government with the objective of framing an integrated strategy to address the growing issue of light pollution.

Titled 'Samrambha Sauhrida Nirmala Keralam 2026', the policy workshop will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Wednesday.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister will also launch the auto-renewal system for granting and renewing establishment and operational consents for industrial units based on self-certification. The system has been enabled on the Board's ...
