Shimla, March 12 -- A bureaucratic controversy has surfaced in the state capital after an officer reportedly faced disciplinary action for giving a lift to his former boss in a government vehicle, an incident that has sparked debate within administrative circles.
According to sources, the officer recently sought a departmental vehicle for official work but was informed that he was no longer authorised to use the government vehicle. The decision reportedly came as a surprise to him. Later, he came to know that the restriction had been imposed after he allowed his former superior to travel in his official vehicle.
