Srinagar, Dec. 12 -- Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday met the families of the victims of the Nowgam Police station "accidental" blast and handed over appointment letters on compassionate grounds, saying the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with them to ensure they live a life of comfort and dignity.
Nine people mostly policemen were killed and 29 others were injured in a powerful explosion inside the Nowgam police station on November 14. The explosives had been seized by J&K police during the probe into the white collar terror module also linked to the Red Fort blast.
