Ghaziabad, Feb. 25 -- Panic gripped the Green Field School campus on NDRF Road in Ghaziabad on Wednesday morning after a leopard entered the premises around 6 am. The wild animal was successfully captured following a six-hour-long rescue operation by the forest department and police officials.

According to ACP Kavinagar Suryabali Maurya, the leopard was also spotted in CCTV footage on Tuesday night along NDRF Road. Early Wednesday morning, it entered the Green Field School campus and attempted to access classrooms but failed as the doors were locked. The animal roamed in the school ground for nearly two minutes before entering a bathroom inside the building.
