Nagpur, Dec. 10 -- A leopard entered a house in the Pardi area of eastern Nagpur on Wednesday, sparking panic among residents and prompting a swift rescue operation by the Forest Department's Transit Treatment Centre, officials said.

Four people sustained injuries during the rescue attempt.

According to forest officials, the leopard had been moving through several densely populated localities over the past few days, including Kapsi, Mahalgaon, and Bhandewadi. Continuous sightings have left residents anxious, with many saying they are unwilling to let their children outdoors.
