Bahraich, Feb. 5 -- A leopard attacked and killed an eight-year-old boy playing outside his house on Wednesday evening, in the Katarniaghat forest area in the city of Bahraich, creating panic and grief in the village.
The incident occurred in the Chahalwa area's Nishad Nagar village. The victim, identified as Arun, son of Subhash, was playing outside his house with other children at around 8 pm when a leopard suddenly emerged from the nearby forest and attacked him. The animal grabbed the child in its jaws and attempted to flee towards the forest.
