Nashik, April 22 -- To resolve the long-pending issue concerning 'Devasthan Inam' (temple endowment) lands, the Maharashtra Government intends to enact legislation during the upcoming session of the State Legislature.
Preparations for this initiative have already commenced. Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule announced that the draft of the proposed law would soon be published on the official website to allow citizens to register their objections and suggestions.
He shared this information during a meeting held in the Revenue Minister's chamber, which focused on resolving the pending issue regarding the Inam lands of the historic Pedhe Parashuram Devasthan in the Chiplun taluka of Ratnagiri district.
