Hyderabad, Nov. 16 -- Leaders from various political parties and BC organisations came together at Indira Park today for the Nyaya Sadhana Deeksha, demanding that local body elections be conducted strictly in accordance with constitutional provisions and that BC reservations be legally protected.
The deeksha, led by Telangana BC JAC Chairman MP R Krishnaiah, saw thousands participating. Former BC Commission Chairman Vaklabharanam Krishnamohan presided over the programme. Leaders from multiple parties, 45 BC caste associations, 39 BC organisations, as well as central and state OBC employee associations, extended their support.
