Pune, May 11 -- On the occasion of Mother's Day today, The Late Kamal Nevrekar Memorial Award, presented by the Konkanastha Family, Pune, was awarded to Changunatai Karche, mother of Amol Karche, a member of the world champion blind cricket team.
The felicitation ceremony was conducted at Pandit Nehru Stadium, Pune, at the hands of international sportsperson Dr. Manju Jugdar.
Vinaya Pednekar presided over the event.
