Mumbai, Sept. 15 -- Larsen & Toubro (L&T) officially stated in a stock exchange filing today that it has secured a deal from the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) to construct 156 route kilometres (RKM) of ballastless track of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (MAHSR) corridor.

The deal has been described as a 'large project', which falls under a Rs 2,500-Rs 5,000 crore category, though the exact figure was not announced.

The deal covers design, supply, construction, testing and commissioning on a design-build lump sum basis on the section between Mumbai's Bandra-Kurla Complex and Zaroli village in Gujarat (package T1), according to the companys' exchange filing.
